Connor is a food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) professional with five years of experience working in various capacities in the food industry, including restaurants, cattle ranches, farming operations, and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-inspected meat processing plants. Connor excels at managing sanitation and maintenance programs to maintain corporate and regulatory standards. He further has experience developing training and educational curriculum.
In his role at KTL, Connor provides the following:
- Develops and oversees sanitation programs, including developing and updating procedures, policies, and master sanitation schedules.
- Provides Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and standard operating procedure (SOP) development and implementation support.
- Reviews and coordinates efforts related to environmental monitoring and pathogen testing programs.
- Updates and maintains food safety program documents to help ensure consistency and conformance with USDA, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) regulatory and certification requirements.
- Develops and conducts relevant food safety training.
- Researches GFSI certification standard requirements and helps maintain version updates.
Connor has his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Russian Area Studies from Haverford College in Pennsylvania. In addition, he is proficient in Russian.
